Rocky Shore Tide Pool

This multimedia experience offers visitors a chance to explore a virtual tide pool teeming with life native to Monterey Bay. Visitors’ touch prompts different behaviors from animated, 3D animals. Onscreen labels tell visitors about those behaviors and the animals’ needs. The experience connects empathy for animals with messages about tidepool protection, including pollution prevention and positive actions we can all take to benefit tidepool dwellers.

As Exhibit Developer at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, I led the content development for this experience, which opened to the public in December 2019.
