Into the Deep: Exploring Our Undiscovered Ocean

This groundbreaking exhibition invites visitors to dive into a world unlike any other—the deep sea. Visitors journey from the sunlit open sea to the inky dark midwater and the muddy seafloor’s oases of life. Throughout this journey, visitors meet astonishing animals, learn from deep-sea explorers, and discover how we’re all connected to this mysterious realm. The exhibition builds empathy for animals often seen as “alien” or “otherworldly” and shows visitors how our actions at the surface affect these animals and their homes.

As Exhibit Developer at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, I’m leading the content development for this exhibition, which will to open to the public in April 2022.
