Chinook Salmon and the San Joaquin River

This exhibition within the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust River Center shares the story of the Chinook salmon’s disappearance from and reintroduction to the San Joaquin River. Visitors learn about the salmon’s travels to and from the ocean and local efforts to restore water flows to bring the fish back to where it once thrived. A life-sized model of the salmon created by a local artist gives visitors a closer look at this magnificent migrator.

As a contractor at the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust, I led the content development and graphic design for this exhibition, which opened to the public in August 2017.
